Loved the feeling of exclusivity with free parking and WiFi throughout. The garden was a whopping 6 km away, what a treat!
I really missed the exciting challenge of finding my way without any clear signage, such a letdown.

We got great value for our money with a spacious and comfortable room, and the location was safe and easy to find. The staff at this homestay were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with more inclusive options.

Mind-blowing personal attention from staff, with an amazing welcome and interest in my ethnic demeanor. Manager went above and beyond by cleaning my car daily and making payment a breeze. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to friends and family. Super comfortable bed and jaw-dropping shower pressure. Great to come back to after a busy day, with a reasonable standard for a B&B. The ensuite bathroom was a definite plus. Loved the shared kitchen as it provided an opportunity to connect with hosts and other guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Makepeace Place Homestay. The accommodation was clean, modern, and comfortable. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and plenty of storage space for our luggage. We were pleasantly surprised when James, the owner, kindly offered to drop us off and pick us up from the rugby stadium in his Bentley. The hospitality of this lovely family was exceptional, and nothing was too much trouble for them. We highly recommend Makepeace Place Homestay to anyone visiting Hamilton.

Free parking was such a treat, I mean who doesn't love circling around for hours trying to find a parking spot? And the free WiFi? Clearly, my life depends on staying connected 24/7, so thank you for that.
Oh, and let's not forget the joy of navigating through the garden of a million mosquitoes. Such a delightful experience, truly.

We had a very comfortable stay at Makepeace Place Homestay. the bed was so cozy, and the shower pressure was amazing - just what we needed after a long day of household removal and lawn mowing. the hosts provided a reasonable standard B&B experience, although their welcome felt a bit clinical and robotic. we really appreciated having our own ensuite bathroom. We're not big fans of shared bathrooms, but we enjoy using shared kitchens as it gives us the chance to get to know the hosts and other guests.
We had a relaxing experience and would recommend this place to others visiting. Cons: We didn't dislike anything about the property.

Felt like royalty, nothing to complain about.
